1. In England everything is the other way

2. do not take the driver seat thinking it is the passenger seat.

3. Think twice before opening the fridge, you don't open it on the left side but on the right one.

4. The hot water is on your right not on your left , so when you take a shower , make sure you opened the hot water , so you don't have to wait 5 minutes with the cold water running before realizing you were wrong.

5. The shower door must be opened from the outside , not from the inside. Do not try to open it from the inside it is not going to work , and it will break , then you will find yourself with a big glass door in your hands. It is not good to break people's things especially on your first day. And this is what I did.

6. Even if you find similar ingredients to make a cake , it will never taste like usual.

7. Learn how to use the coffee pot. Your coffee will probably not be instant coffee, So if you put it in a mug and add sugar . it will not be good. Believe me. Use the coffee pot.

8. When you go to the supermarket , always be suspicious , and do not trust «cane sugar» . It will not be the delicious brown sugar but the disgusting white one.

9. Do not expect people to have lunch with you. Lunch is not a family thing. You don't gather to eat a good cooked meal. You go outside and buy yourself a sandwich or you make yourself a good salad.

10. Speaking about food, if you're French it can only be a bonus , since the food in England is absolutely disgusting.

Yes, things are so different here . I made many mistakes but I suppose it is completely normal.I'm like a child , touching everything, learning things. I still have a lot to learn but the good news is , I have 8 months to do so.
