I can't believe my luck. Today we went to the national peak district, I believe it is Sheffield national park but I'm not entirely sure anyway it was so beautiful. All the way I didn't say much because it was so peaceful it would have ruined everything to say a word. It was very cold, and for the first time in my life I put gloves. I had a very warm jumper that Jenny (my host ) lent to me. We walked a lot , but though it was cold it was so nice , it was so green. We could see sheep all around , grazing peacefully. There was a castle far in the distance. I don't remember its name. We walked through a very british like village. We saw a river and we fed the ducks. The kids were so happy, I couldn't help but laugh. I was really happy to be there. I find it very inspiring and refreshing. All of a sudden I forgot I was with a British family , I forgot the words , city , cars , noise , roads... I forgot the words , computer , money, buildings...I forgot all about modern life and it was as if it had never existed before . I was in another universe and I loved being there.
There is absolutely NOTHING familiar in Sheffield. Nothing. And I suppose this is why I still don't realise I'm here. And that's also probably why I can't believe my luck.
