Tell me the truth...

Everything seems so great here that it is almost unreal. People are so nice , they seem to like me , and to be interested in me , they like my food and say it's delicious , they always thank me for helping them , they keep smiling to me in the street , they never criticize other people and everything is so «lovely». I love to be here but I can't help thinking … are they sincere?

So far everything has been going on so well , and I can't complain but it is just unreal. How can everything and everybody be so «lovely» and «nice» ? Do they really think what they are saying , or is it just a way of being polite?

I know it's not fair to doubt their sincerity but I have no idea what the British way of thinking is like. they are so nice to me that somehow I can't believe it.

And Deep inside me , I do hope they're not being polite with me , because all I want is for them to tell me the truth...
