Ending in beauty

I arrived in the capital city welcomed by a tremendous British weather. It didn't take me long to realize London has its own rules.

#1 When you enter a restaurant you can have the menu in whatever language you want. I got the menu in French, was spoken to in French because the waitress assumed I was French and that I couldn't speak a word of English.

#2 If you go to the British Museum for the 1st time you will get lost ( unless you have a map) as it is one of the biggest museum I've ever seen.

#3 London is so multicultural that I was surprised to hear so many languages around me.

#4 if like me, you have 3 sunny days in a row & you want to enjoy the outdoors, mind the nice chairs in the parks. It's London, you have to pay for pretty much everything.

#5 English is the official language but it doesn't mean people will talk to you in English. In a market a guy started to talk to me in Spanish about the necklace I was looking at. My Spanish being prefect I understood everything and said " Okay" then left. who knows, I might have looked Spanish.

#6 London is incredibly big I was never really lost but walked so much I wore my shoes out to the point where we decided to take the tube.

#7 note to self : in London you need some good shoes.

#8 It is very noisy even if you live far.

#9 It is so busy & crowded that you bump into many people. Really the only word you need to know is " Sorry ".

#10 London has its own rules that you need to get used to but in the end it is a fantastic city.
